TRUST HR LEAD
We are looking for an exceptional HR professional to drive the HR strategy of the trust and deliver outstanding centralised HR services to all our stakeholders.
You will be motivational, approachable, strategically creative and an effective communicator with the interpersonal skills needed to build strong relationships.
Working closely with senior leaders in an energetic and friendly atmosphere where you can expect to be supported and stretched in terms of your personal development, you will manage and deliver a forward thinking, responsive and progressive HR service, contributing to the overall input to maximise outcomes for children.
As an HR professional, you too should have a strong love of learning, keeping up to date with developments and statutory changes, equipping yourself and team to deliver exceptional service, that will have a profound and lasting impact.
The successful candidate will need to oversee the recruitment, hiring, performance evaluation and training of employees. You will also handle employee relations, benefits, employment laws and regulations.

Position details:
Rate of pay: 29,000 37,000 (1FTE) depending on experience.
Rate of pay: Actual (pro-rata) 25,452 - 32,480 per year.
Hours: 37 hrs per week Monday Friday (8.30am - 16.30pm four days and 8.30 - 16.00pm one day per week, including lunch breaks).
Working weeks: 39.8 weeks per year (term time, INSET, plus 4 days in schools holidays)
Paid weeks: 45.769 per year.

Looe Primary Academy is looking for an experienced Nursery Teaching Assistant with a requirement of Level 2 and Level 3 early years qualification, to work in our small but thriving nursery provision. The post is offered as fixed term position to the end of half term in the Summer Term, to cover maternity leave, but may extend.
We are a friendly and professional team, with the nursery as a valued part of our provision. The nursery caters for children from the age of 2 4 years of age and enjoys a dedicated safe and well-resourced environment that enables children to flourish and to learn. The setting has its own room and outdoor space and the children have the opportunity to explore our extensive grounds and outdoor spaces on a regular basis.
Some of the skills required include:
The ability to work both as a part of a small nursery team but also the wider staff group
A warm, smiley nurturing approach that children will enjoy and which will enable them to feel special in your care
A resilient approach where nothing phases you you will change nappies, be an endless number of characters to play with throughout the day, need to laugh at things such as jokes that the children tell you, even if you do not understand, not be phased by some of the actions that the children will display and an ability to deal with almost anything that a day can throw at you
A strong desire to enable children to flourish, learn and grow in every action they take when they are in the nursery
Enthusiasm, energy and a professional approach to all that you do and a willingness to engage in all aspects of school life.
Ideally, the successful candidate will also have experience of working with children who may need behaviour support and or social, emotional and mental health need, or willingness to train in this area. The post also includes lunchtime supervision each day.
